Before attending law school, Kara A. Brotman worked as an applications support engineer at a software company in Massachusetts.

During law school, she participated in a study abroad and internship program in Munich, Germany that focused on international and comparative intellectual property. In addition, Kara completed a legal externship in New York City at a large fashion house, where she focused on enforcement, specifically trademark enforcement.

Prior to joining CRGO, Kara worked in both the IP Litigation and the IP Counseling & Patents groups in the San Diego office of Wilson, Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She also worked in a large technology company, specializing in wireless technologies and chipsets, in San Diego.

Kara also participated in the Hon. J. Clifford Wallace American Inn of Court in San Diego.
