biography
David P. Milian is a seasoned trial lawyer with 22 years experience. He is a partner of Carey Rodriguez Greenberg & O’Keefe, LLP., a firm specializing in complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. David joined Carey Rodriguez after having spent 15 years with the Miami Commercial Litigation firm Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, where David was a shareholder. David has represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including class action litigation, bankruptcy/creditors rights, securities fraud litigation, contract disputes in the commercial finance, real estate, banking, and entertainment industries, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices, trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, RICO, professional malpractice, and director and officer liability. David is a skilled trial attorney who has successfully litigated a variety of cases before federal and state court judges and juries, and domestic and international Arbitration Associations. David also has significant experience in evaluating and bringing claims on behalf of trustees, receivers, and investors, particularly securities and other commercial fraud actions.
David graduated with honors from the University Of Florida College Of Law where he was executive Articles Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law and is now an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association. David is fluent in Spanish and has represented a diversity of corporate and private clients from all areas of the U.S. and Latin America.
